5 ACTIVITIES TO DO THIS FALL

It’s no secret that fall is my favorite time of year. There’s something magical about seeing the leaves change colors. There’s also so many fall activites that you can do, which I absolutely love. Going to a pumpkin patches or apple picking are the perfect way to start of the fall season. Below I’ve detailed a few fall activities that I am so excited to do this year.

1. HOST A S’MORES PARTY

Campfires are the best. Kaitlin (The Every Hostess) & I recently had a backyard s’mores that was so much fun. You can get all the details on our s’mores party here. This idea is perfect for cooler fall nights. All you need to do is grab ingredients to build your s’mores and invite over a few friends. It’s one of the easy ways to host your friends during the fall with minimal effort. If the weather gets cool in the evening just bring out a few blankets for people to wrap around their shoulders.

2. GO TO AN APPLE ORCHARD

I love love love going to apple orchards. There’s something about it that I am obsessed with. Roderick and I spent a morning up at Ya Ya Farm and Orchard in Longmont, Colorado last fall and it was so much fun! They have hayrides, farm animals, the BEST apple cider donuts and a flower garden where you can pick your own flowers. If you are in Colorado I would suggest going there this fall. If you want to pick your own apples you just need to go early in the season.

3. CARVE OR PAINT PUMPKINS

Carving pumpkins isn‘t just for kids! Roderick and I did this a few years ago and had the best time. You can find all sorts of designs online, if you’re up for a challenge! If you don’t want to carve them you can always paint them. Here are a few ideas for inspiration.

4. GO TO A HAUNTED HOUSE

I loved going to haunted houses growing up. It’s always fun to go with a big group of friends. Amusement parks are also fun to go to in the fall, too. Growing up in California was the best because Universal Studios was so close. They always change the park for Halloween, and everything is so spooky.

5. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS OVER TO BAKE PIES

Baking pies is one of my favorite things to do. Inviting your friends over to bake pies is a perfect activity for fall. I’m actually planning to host a pie making party this fall and I cannot wait!

xoxo,

Taebur
