How is it already August?? This summer has honestly gone by so quickly! I've already started to shoot fall content for the blog. I wasn't planning to share yet, but I've received so many messages about this one-ingredient sweetened condensed milk caramel sauce, that I had to share. It's honestly SO easy that you are never going to make it any other way ever again.
HOW TO MAKE EASY CARAMEL SAUCE?
This one ingredient caramel sauce with condensed milk is so simple. It is the perfect caramel sauce that is not too hard to make, plus it involves very little work. Trust me - you will never buy or make it any other way after you try this recipe. I was shocked at how delicious it was.
What you'll need:
A crockpot/slow cooker
Ball Canning Jars - I used 4 ounce jars, but you can use a different size if you would like. I thought this size was perfect for pairing with apples as a gift basket.
Sweetened Condensed Milk
Instructions:
Clean each jar and fill with sweetened condensed milk. Leave about 1/4 of an inch of space at the top of each jar.
Seal each jar.
Place the jar at the bottom of your slow cooker.
Fill your slow cooker with water. Make sure the water covers the jars by roughly one inch.
Turn your slow cooker to low and cook for 8 hours. Cooking the sauce for the full 8 hours will result in a delicious and deep colored caramel sauce.
***Note: You will need to keep this sauce refrigerated.
