I think I will always be the biggest fan of picnics. There's something about eating outside and lounging in the grass that is so relaxing. Add in some Lila Canned Wines and you're ready for the perfect backyard picnic party.
What I loved most about this backyard picnic is that you can throw it together in a matter of minutes. All I did was grab a blanket, a few pillows, Lila Wine, a bucket to chill your Lila Wine in, some food and plates and silverware to serve.
A picnic like this works for any occasion. It is a great way to entertain or even a fun early evening date night. Below I detailed everything you need to know to throw the perfect picnic party.
WHAT TO PACK IN YOUR PICNIC BASKET?
Lila Wines are a must for a backyard picnic. I love their canned bubbly rosé wine. First, what's better than bubbly rosé? And second, I am obsessed with the fact that Lila Wines offers a carefree and stylish way to enjoy high-quality wine anywhere life takes you.
A Simple Charcuterie Board - For this board, I bought prosciutto and mozzarella rolls at the store, dates, olives, and nuts. This charcuterie board can be thrown together in a matter of minutes but will be so tasty.
Cake - Honestly, cake is perfect for any occasion. I added some florals to the top of this simple boxed vanilla cake to give it an extra flare.
Plates and silverware - Since this picnic was in my backyard I used real plates and silverware, but if you were going to take this picnic on the road I would opt for some good disposable plate, which will make for an easy cleanup.
Blanket - A blanket that you won't mind getting a little dirty. Choose your blanket according to the size of your picnic party. The blanket I used would be good for an intimate backyard picnic, but if you are planning on having a larger group make sure to put out a few blankets.

Your backyard - I love the idea of having a picnic at home in your yard. It is honestly such a fun idea for a date night, or a casual get together with your girlfriends. Grab a pack of Lila Canned Wines, your favorite meal or snacks, and you're ready for a fun afternoon outside.

IS ROSÉ WINE SERVED CHILL?
Yes, rosé wine should be served chilled. Nothing is better than a chilled rosé on a hot summer day. For my picnic, I wanted to make floral ice cubes to chill my Lila Wine on. This is so easy to do and it will be sure to impress your guests. Floral ice cubes are perfect for a picnic in your backyard, but if you are taking your picnic on the road I suggest using a cooler and some ice.
