Can you even believe that 2019 starts tomorrow? I still can’t even believe it. In 2018 I experienced probably the most life-changing things packed into one year that I can imagine. Roderick and I remodeled a home. I moved out of my old apartment at the end of 2017, moved in with Rod’s parents while our house was under construction, quit my job, figured out how to design a home, blogged, started an entirely new career, got married, went to Fiji and a ton of other things I am sure I am forgetting.
I am excited and looking forward to what the Lord will bring in 2019. I started setting a few goals for myself for 2019, but mostly for taebur.com. I spent most of 2018 trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my blog and figure out what you all want to see. After reflecting on what I have enjoyed working on this past year and reviewing my analytics, it is super clear to me that although I enjoy fashion and style, I do not spend my time to look at fashion trends and magazines the way I used to when I was younger. Ever since we started remodeling our home, I feel that home decor, interior design, entertaining and DIY projects are what I find myself the most interested in. Thankfully, this also aligns with my analytics. You all seem to love every photo I post of my kitchen or bathroom, which I am so thankful for. On occasion, I will still post styled looks because I know that some of you love to see that and my love for clothes has not gone away, but you might see styled looks in different ways that are more authentic to my brand.
So what can you expect from me in 2019?
Lifestyle content (Yes, that is super broad, but I will explain further below.)
DIY projects – I have a few DIY projects coming in January that I am so excited to share with you all. There is something about doing projects yourself, especially in your home, that is so satisfying.

Recipes - I am no chef by any means, but I do enjoy cooking, and now that I am married I want to share tips that I have been putting into practice to make sure we have home-cooked meals even though with our jam-pack schedules. I also work with a ton of food influencers at my day job, who inspire me to make delicious recipes. I will be sure to share the recipes they create as well.
Style – I will still share styled looks when I feel they are authentic to my brand or something that I am genuinely loving.
Wedding Planning Content – I am no longer planning a wedding, but I still have a ton of tips that I want to share with you all.
Three blog posts per week. – I want to force myself to be more consistent in 2019 because in 2018 I was not AT ALL. In 2019, I want to create content on a regular schedule. I have not decided what days of the week I will publish new content, but I will release at least three new posts per week.
All the Pinterest content – I will be focusing a lot more on Pinterest in 2019. First, because it is my favorite social media platform. Secondly, because my primary goal is to create beautiful pin-worthy content that drives new readers to my blog. So make sure to follow me over on Pinterest.
Video Content – This is something that I am trying to push myself to do in 2019. I am not 100% sure how this will look, but I think it will most likely be short IGTV videos where I share DIY project or life hacks. This is still TBD.
Collaborations with brands that I genuinely love and use – I will still work with brands the same way that I did in 2018. I love sharing brands that are authentic to my brand. I have some exciting collaborations coming up in 2019 that I am so excited about. One of them I have already told you a little about on my IG stories because I recently shot the content for it, but it is a kitchen organization collaboration with Bed Bath and Beyond. I am beyond excited about working with them. I already use a ton of their organization products, so this was a great fit. Also, having an organized kitchen is LIFE CHANGING.
