Roderick and I recently celebrated our six month wedding anniversary, which was the perfect opportunity to get away to Downtown Golden for a little staycation. We stayed at the lovely Dove Inn. Our stay was nothing short of perfect. We loved the beautiful Shakespeare room we stayed in. My favorite part about the Dove Inn was the decor. At the hotel, there is a gorgeous common area, which includes a kitchen, fireplace, sitting area and best of all a coffee bar.
The kitchen was stunning. The Dove Inn provides a light breakfast, which you can grab yourself in the kitchen. I was happy to see that some of the options were gluten-free. I always have a difficult time finding gluten-free options when I am traveling, so this was a welcomed bonus.
During our stay in Golden, we relaxed at the hotel, enjoying some of the cold brew they provided on tap. Then, we head out to dinner. Golden, has some great options for dining.
Overall, getting away to Golden was the perfect staycation. If you are looking to come to Colorado or are in the mood for a staycation, I highly recommend checking out the Dove Inn.
